What Is a Nether Portal
Nether portal is a gateway that lets you travel from overworld to the Nether. The Nether is a dangerous place full of lava fire and strange mobs but it also has rare loot.
What You Need to Make One
To build a Nether Portal in Minecraft APK you will need:
- 10 to 14 obsidian blocks
- Flint n steel to lite it up
You dont need corners for the portal if you want to save some obsidian.
How to Build the Frame
- Place 4 obsidian blocks upright like a door
- Put 5 high on both sides
- Connect the top with 2 more blocks
You should now have a tall rectangle made of obsidian.
Lighting the Portal
Now use the flint n steel and tap on the inside of the frame. The portal should turn purple and start glowing. That means its working and ready to enter.
Important Tips for Nether
- Bring food blocks and armor
- Watch out for ghasts and lava
- Place a bed in overworld to return safe
