Start With Right Tools
Before you go exploring make sure you got good tools. Bring a iron pickaxe sword axe and shovel. Also carry a map food and torches. This will help you survive longer and find rare stuff.
Use a Bed for Respawn
Always bring a bed with you. If you die far from your base you can respawn at your bed and not lose all your stuff. Place your bed when night comes or before entering dangerous areas.
Mark Your Path
Use blocks like cobblestone or torches to mark your way. That way you wont get lost. You can also make signs or build small towers to know where you came from.
Explore in Daylight
Monsters like zombies and skeletons come out at night. So always start exploring in morning. Try to make a small shelter if night falls or sleep in your bed to skip night.
Loot Smart
Dont just take everything. Save space in your inventry for rare items like diamonds emeralds and enchanted gear. Use chests to store extra stuff if needed.
